ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out what may not be listed, sold, or done on
Wakeeza.com. It protects genuine Members and helps us keep the Platform
lawful and safe. Breach of this policy may result in listing removal, account suspension, withholding of
escrow funds pending investigation, and — where required by law — reporting to the relevant authorities.
1. Prohibited Items
- Illegal goods, or goods that are stolen, counterfeit, or infringe someone else's intellectual property.
- Weapons, firearms, ammunition, or explosives, except where a listing complies fully with the Firearms Control Act and the seller holds a valid licence, disclosed on request.
- Illegal drugs, prescription medicines without a valid licence, and unregistered or unsafe supplements.
- Protected or endangered wildlife and wildlife products, in line with the National Environmental Management: Biodiversity Act.
- Hazardous materials, or items requiring specialist handling/licensing that cannot be safely fulfilled through the Platform.
- Human remains, bodily fluids or organs, and items intended to defraud (e.g. fake documents, hacking tools).
2. Prohibited Services
- Any regulated service offered without the legally required licence, qualification, or registration (e.g. electrical work, medical or legal services, financial advice).
- Services that facilitate illegal activity, including money laundering, unlicensed lending, or unlawful surveillance.
- Sexual services or content of any kind.
- "Get rich quick", pyramid, or multi-level marketing recruitment schemes.
3. Prohibited Conduct
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, or discriminatory conduct towards other Members.
- Posting fake reviews, manipulating ratings, or creating multiple accounts to mislead other Members.
- Taking a connection made on the Platform off-platform specifically to avoid escrow protection or platform fees.
- Scraping, reverse-engineering, or using automated tools to extract data from the Platform without written permission.
- Uploading malware, attempting to bypass security controls, or probing the Platform for vulnerabilities without authorisation.
- Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your identity, qualifications, or verification status.
4. Reporting a Violation
If you come across a listing or Member you believe breaches this policy, please report it using the
"Report" option on the listing/profile, or email
support@wakeeza.com with details and any evidence.
5. Enforcement
We may, at our discretion and depending on severity, issue a warning, remove content, suspend or terminate
an account, withhold funds pending investigation under our Refund & Dispute Resolution Policy, and/or
report unlawful conduct to the South African Police Service or other relevant authority.
